Developing the Student's future

CCI The Renaissance School places a high importance on carefully counselling students in their applications to universities appropriate to the students' ambitions, academic potentials and personal characters. The guidance department--with a strong background of awareness of many universities internationally--devotes whatever hours are necessary to meeting with each graduating student and carefully analyzing and explaining the programs and nature of the universities recommended for consideration.

University Entrance and Diploma Requirements

For university admission in Ontario, a student must obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) that includes six 12M or 12U courses. Students with an OSSD can apply to American and European universities. SAT examinations may be written at CCI. All university applications are prepared at the Guidance Centre at CCI.

Students applying to universities in other provinces or other parts of the world should confirm academic eligibility with the registrar of the university they wish to attend. CCI assists all prospective students in their eligibility inquiries to post-secondary institutions.

University Applications The deadline for applications to Ontario universities is the beginning of December. For other Canadian and American universities and European jurisdictions, applications are due between January and April. Full-time and first semester students will complete their applications in Lanciano, while second semester students should have submitted their applications prior to their studies at CCI. Canadian universities usually notify students of their acceptance in June, while American universities respond in April.
